Looking Ahead: Global Service-Learning
As The Essence Ambassadors continues to grow, we envision expanding our programming beyond domestic travel to include international service-learning and cultural exchange experiences.
These future opportunities will allow scholars to engage with communities outside of their own through collaborative projects, cultural immersion, and shared learning. Scholars will learn alongside local partners, gaining global perspective while developing humility, empathy, and a deeper understanding of interconnected communities.
Our goal is to help scholars see themselves as global citizens—individuals who can contribute positively to the world while respecting the knowledge, strengths, and leadership already present within every community.
